Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle enjoys romantic break in Paris with new love Jason Bell

Nadine Coyle certainly had the look of love last night after spending a romantic weekend in Paris with new boyfriend Jason Bell.

The Girls Aloud singer couldn't stop smiling as she stepped off a Eurostar train at London's St Pancras after a weekend of culture and romance in the French capital.

Playing the dutiful boyfriend, retired American footballer Jason, 30, carried the couple's small Louis Vuitton holdall.

In contrast to Nadine's minuscule strapless baby pink dress that she wore to the Brit Awards on Wednesday, the Northern Irish singer looked casually chic in a baggy blue-shirt, leggings and stiletto heels.

After arriving back in Britain after the two-hour train journey, the Something Kinda Ooh star, 23, and Jason returned to her north London home.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2007, Nadine rarely spends time in England, only visiting to fulfil her Girls Aloud commitments.

After missing out on the Brits last year, Nadine joined her bandmates Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts on the red carpet at Wednesday's ceremony.

The group, which formed six years ago, were thrilled to pick up the Best Single award for The Promise, which was one of the few Brit Awards to be voted for by the public.

With her bandmates all bringing their boyfriends, Nadine took Jason to the star-studded bash and subsequent after-parties.

Speaking to reporters backstage, she gushed: 'I'm the happiest I've ever been.'

Speaking recently about him, Nadine said: 'He plays American football and he is so smart.

'Not showbiz at all. He had never heard of [Girls Aloud] when we met through a mutual friend, but he's a fan now.'

Nadine and Jason started dating in September last year after meeting in LA.

He recently divorced his ex-wife Kimberly, while Nadine ended her 18-month on/off romance with Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe last year.

Last week, Girls Aloud said they were trying to rearrange their schedule so they could perform at cancer-stricken reality TV star Jade Goody's wedding to Jack Tweed on Sunday.

While their chart rivals Sugababes performed at the Essex country house reception, it emerged Girls Aloud were unable to attend.

Nadine's bandmate Nicola was spotted checking out shows at London Fashion Week over the weekend, while it is believed Cheryl and Kimberley were continuing their training to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Comic Relief next month.

Kimberley Walsh is to wed her long-term love - once he's saved up to buy her a ring that won't be totally outshone by CHERYL COLE's.

I can reveal that struggling boyband singer JUSTIN SCOTT will propose on their summer holiday after seven years with the pop beauty.

What took so long?

The poor love doesn't want Kim's rock to look like something bought in Blackpool next to the huge £50,000 sparkler that Cheryl's hubby ASHLEY gave her.

Justin - once in now defunct band Triple 8 (no, I can bare ly remember them either) - told me: "I'm saving like mad. I don't want Kimberley to have a rubbish, chavvy ring. I don't want her to sit next to Cheryl and feel that hers isn't as good."

Justin, 26, spoke for the first time about his love for Kimberley, 27, as she and Cheryl toasted their Girls Aloud Brit award.

He said: "I would want her to have the best anyway but it is difficult when one of her best friends is Cheryl and her ring is so beautiful. But then I don't earn the sort of money that Ashley does."

The Chelsea defender, 28, is on £90,000 a week.

I politely informed Justin it is standard practice to spend three months' wages on a ring. He said: "It's all right for Ashley - he could buy a decent ring with a week's wages."

GIRLS Aloud allowed boys to join them as they celebrated bagging their first BRIT, for Best British single.

Everyone wanted to grab a piece of the UK’s best girl group but they only had eyes for their men.

Sarah Harding arrived with Tom Crane while Kimberley Walsh, 27, swept into the party with her fella, ex-boybander Justin Scott, 26.

Nicola Roberts, 23, danced the night away with barman Charlie Fennell, 26, while American footballer Jason Bell, 30, was spotted beaming with pride over his lady Nadine Coyle, 23.

But Cheryl, 25, and Ashley Cole, 28, only enjoyed a few drinks at Claridge’s before heading home.

Girls Aloud went out on a limb at the Brits last night - but it nearly ended in tears during the rehearsal.

Prancing around in glittery five-inch heels, Kimberley Walsh pulled up in agony and hobbled off. With a few hours to go before they were due on proper, there were fears that crocked Kimberley may even have to pull out. A source said: "The girls insisted on a closed set - they felt shy in their tiny gold outfits. Kimberley and Cheryl kept on fluffy bathrobes over the basques until Sarah got them to strip. Kimberley looked nervous as she strutted out in heels."

She had good reason to be nervous, barely making it down a short flight of stairs before she was grimacing with pain. Things then got worse when the routine started. "In the end, she had to hobble off," adds our source. "She was taken backstage for an emergency massage." But it was fine in the end as the girls put on a fabulous show and crowned the evening by picking up the Best British Single award. Last night marked the end of a mammoth 12 months for the girls.

This time last year, Cheryl braved the red carpet despite rumours of her husband Ashley having an affair. Last night Ashley was expected to be there to support his wife. A pal said: "It has come full circle. Ashley and Cheryl are happier than ever now."

The stars came out to shine at last night's Brit Awards in London with the likes of Girls Aloud, Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof and Kylie Minogue all dusting off their gladrags for the event. We know it was meant to be all about the music but what we're really interested in is, of course, the outfits!

Girls Aloud showed how coordinating outfits can look stylish and not tacky, we're talking to you Pussycat Dolls! The Best Single winners donned different shades of white and the effect was a stunning set of outfits.

Nadine Coyle kept things simple with a strapless William Tempest mini dress in oyster, showing off her endless, but a bit too skinny, legs. Nadine complimented the look with, drop diamond earrings, Giuseppe Zanotti gold heels and a silver box clutch bag. The whole look proved that simple is not always boring.

Kimberly Walsh choose a full length Grecian style dress by Roberto Cavalli. The plunging neckline and cut out sides were decorated with gold gems which complimented the singers golden tan and caramel flowing locks.

Girls Aloud won best single at the brits, The single was the amazing song The Promise. Sarah Harding said when they went to collect the award "It is about time!" The girls have worked so hard for this award, so they do deserve it!
